Joseph E. Carey
A lifelong resident of Maryland, Joseph Carey graduated Summa Cum Laude (top 2%) from the University of Maryland and is an honors graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law. As the founder of Carey Law Offices, LLC, Joseph has been committed to defending people for over 25 years and his work has restored dignity to clients whose lives have been impacted by DUI and criminal charges.
He is an experienced trial attorney and has tried hundreds of cases including those before the judges of the District Courts of Maryland, Circuit Court juries throughout Maryland and the Court of Special Appeals. He has represented clients before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. In keeping with the firm's philosophy of continuing professional education, among his many professional associations, Joseph is a member of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Maryland Bar Association, American Bar Association, Maryland Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice.
